Join the movement revolutionizing fibromyalgia care!

As you know, May is National Fibromyalgia Awareness month. Since 2015, the FCSA has been bringing the community together through our annual crowdfunding program-Caterpillar walk. It is through the fundraising efforts of this walk that we have been able to support our most vulnerable warriors by:

Through our COE program, I have been able to connect differently with some of our most vulnerable warriors. I hear and understand the frustration of feeling lost in a broken health care system because I too have been shuffled between Doctors while they debate whether I have fibromyalgia or not. I can understand and relate to why some of us do not receive the services, entitlements, and monies owed to us-we are working against able-bodied systems that do not listen and require a systematic overhaul. I know the challenges and obstacles placed in our path because I too have stumbled along the way and many times have been halted to a complete stop. This and so much more motivates me to work towards a better tomorrow. I know and believe that together we can take on all these challenges and bring change, equity and equality to future generations of fibromyalgia. I have witnessed other communities accomplish this, why not us? There is a lot of work to be done and I cannot do it alone, this will require ALL OF US uniting, organizing, and being sick and tired of being sick and tired! We are the heroes we have been waiting for!

"The communities who have direct experience of an issue are by far the best experts on it"~Jennifer and Warren Buffet

So I implore you to register, donate, invite a friend and show up in a Big Way! After you register, make sure to share your disability story with us via email or in the story section of the crowdfunding site. We will be extracting stories to share via our social media pages and with all who have the power to enact real change.

I can hardly wait until May to see all your beautiful, smiling faces. In the meantime, register, form a team, and share.

In Peace, Power & Progress!
